Grey owl perched on high,

Cocked-head observing dark night,

Dive-bombs; snatches food

Star-filled Autumn night,

Silence fills empty, cool air

Cock’s crow heralds morn

Light-green cedar branch,

Tiny chirping bird looks out;

Dazzled, flies away

Quick, keen-eyed grey squirrel,

Autumn’s approach felt in air,

Hurries to stock food

Summer oak-tree,

Pale yellow leaves slowly change,

Branch cracks, falling far 

&

  what is that feeling
in the crevice of unknown
  bug in my buttcrack

His love lacks passion
Like the willow I weep; in

Thickly-laid forest,
Humid, trees close together;
Horned deer breaks through leaves

Clear, placid skyline,
White August clouds fill blue sky,
Quickly, one drop falls

Dark, blue canopy,
Purple, red hues streak night sky,
White star roars through air

Old, wise wizened frog,
Murky pond swarming with life,
Tongue-flick catches fly

Warm, late Summer day,
Lofty stalks line dying fields,
Sun-rays burst through clouds

so at last we meet,
and you come to defeat me,
but you will not win.

Blonde gritty sand, it
scatches as I stare skyward.
I’m lamenting home.

love drifted afloat

two cautious boats pressed by sky

sinking unnoticed

echoing footsteps

of tiny feet remembered

on now barren floors.

Pink pansies torn with
vengeance- yet she pauses to
recollect his smile.
