Dishes crusted furry vacuum shrieked  Insomnia disguised in confident gazes mouthed Help-Me Depression

sleepy, flaming trees

drop confetti on parades

only I can see

creation’s hard price:

arts’ truths lie in eyes beyond

makers’ rich, blind mind

Cold geese take flight south,

Winter’s breath drives them onwards,

Thier call beckons frost

Autumn colors gone,

Long bleak dreary November,

Grey month of cold wind

October fading,

Waxing Autumn chill grows strong,

Life pulls blanket close 

Hyenas scrounging,

Like ruthless, gathering flies

On rotting gazelle

October’s warm peak,

Sun-laid days last vestiges,

First real chill is felt

Changing leaves near end,

Fading bright glory whispers,

One morn they are gone

Orange explosions flare,

Yellow and red leaves swirl round,

Fall makes itself known

Chicken strips simmer

Broken extractor fan whines

I forgot the rice

Bone-chilled icy rain,

Autumn struggling to stay warm,

Green leaves fading quick,

Aurora of colors streak,

One sees slow change grow
