Poetry / At The Bottom of The Wishing Well
At the bottom of the wishing well
lies all the dreams, of all of those
who dare to dream.
Some come true and some do not,but in
the wishing well, they’re never forgot.
Blessings for some, riches for others.
True loves come true, and disapointments
forgotten.
Illnesses cured, and wars defeated…
No matter the wish, no matter the reason,
the wishing well stays the pot of all dreams.

This is a nice little piece. It’s not really a stand out though. There’s nothing too striking about it. The structure seems a bit thin in parts. But it’s pleasent, has some nice moments.

I think the idea for the poem is the strong point here, the concept is excellent i think if you took more time to develop the idea further it could be really good, not that it isnt good already, I just think there is more room for expansion, the idea that the wishing well holds all these hopes, dreams, loves etc. is excellent, i hope you do expand on it.
