Thanks. I think most do, but you’d be surprised how many people have disagreed with me.

I must disagree with you in totality.Self-centred people who are good at networking and ass-licking are the ones who are always in the thick of things. And nothing succeeds like success,at least in material terms.
Infact, the mild-natured,generous souls often end up being losers in life simply because they exist in a self-denial mode. How many FORREST GUMPS have you come across who have been successful and in the thick of things?Being self-centred is the convention.SELF-INTEREST is what keeps the wheels of the economy moving.Come on,man you live in the heart of capitalism.

It’s a simple statement, but incredibly true. Every self-centered person I’ve met fits this statement perfectly.
Anaphora and simplicity. As a quote it is pretty strong. The content is easy to understand but also easy to debate – it probably expresses itself best when used in some sort of context.
So true! Though they don’t like to help others, they don’t mind leaning on others for support. They like to be acknowledged as independent people, but on the sidelines they have people holding them up.
Good job!
As you say, some may disagree, but I agree with you all the way!
Wonderful! Paris Hilton comes immediately to mind.
Actually, I must agree. Self-centered people believe that the world revolves around them and that it’s every one else’s duty to serve to them. It irritates me and I can see it irritates you as well. True and good.
This is true, but only a self-centered person would say otherwise
Interesting statement, but how do you qualify this quote?
I personally can’t see how this social behavior interacts with self reliance.
