Archaic, wonder-stuck beings, vampires.
Smooth, frigid skin captured by pallor. Sheer perfection I do say, and with this I am being demure.
Scouring the Earth kissed passionately by nightfall seeking respite.
With such grace do they impel through the thickness of a wood; luminescent as the moon pressed against the beguiling black horizon.
Then to find themselves enraptured! A weak, ignoble life strikes the everlasting one’s path. Unbidden, they turn this lovely scene to a mass of horror.
Writhing desperately within this divine creature’s hold, too soon this skeleton will dance no longer. The only trace of murder, if murder at all, will exist as two parallel wounds neatly dressed in scarlet; or, if you will, an autograph signifying a life-craving indulgence, eternally scarred.
