i don’t know if your looking for a play in words or not, but if you are, it’s a bad idea, and concept….if not..you may not know an atheist is someone who doesn’t believe there is a God…so i can you feel he hates you…:)....a little tip on the God thing…most people don’t understand him and his spiritual laws set in place here on earth…so people get frustrated, angry, and disapointed…but when and if they learn, which i believe if you try, everyone will see…just how he works..(not how you think he works or want him work…:)...how HE works…:)...jim

Hi, you have totally misunderstood the nature of this piece.  It is written in the style of Hunter S Thompson where the very writing is meaningless.  The fact that I have chosen God as the subject just makes it funnier because God is meaningful.  I am, and have been an atheist my entire life and i have been a lecturer in literature and theology for three years.  It’s nothing to do with anger … there is no anger in this piece , only adoration for the human condition.

You have also failed to grasp the difference between a play on words and a philosophical quandry.  Although this is neither and edges more toward the atomic observation paradox.

I really don’t agree with this title, but I get what you’re saying. It’s a little vague for my tastes but on the other hand, I can see this on a bumper sticker lol. Nice job with this. I really don’t see anything worth changing…..except maybe the title, but that’s just me…

This is very funny if you mean to evoke the absurd logic of blaming God for punishing you because of your lack of faith.  Only a fool would say something like this, so, it’s hilarious.  If on the other hand you believe it (and I can’t believe that) then you need help!

It’s got a staggered suggestion of belief, which is rather witty.  Two layers of belief existing.  Put a capital A on atheists, though.  Overall, not bad.  You could simplify it further and say ‘God hates Atheists.’  That is definitely your call, though.  

This is sort of funny and preposterous, for if one is a true atheist, there is no god for them, so there is no god to hate them. By saying God hates me because I am an atheist belies that fact that you are an atheist and says you do have a belief in god. Anyhow it made me smile.
