Hello, I thought that your limerick had a sweet sense of humor to it. Wouldn’t that be cute in a children’s book of limericks?

You might add some words to the middle two lines of you limerick, to make them have five words. Only other thing I see, is “Gnat, isn’t capitalized in the first sentence.

It’s really cute, come up with some other ones for children. It’s a good idea.

Best wishes

This is cute. I think that children would love this. It flows well, and the rhyming will bode well in keeping their attention. I do seem to remember the title from somewhere. I’ll have to look up Shel Silverstein. Anyway, I have read some of your other work, and love it all. Keep this up!

Lines 3 and 4 of Limericks have five to seven syllables and also rhyme with each other
Your lines 3 and 4 only have 4 syllables, but thats the only thing i could find wrong with  it
Other then thats is a excellent limerick, keep up the good work

I like it.  It made me laugh at the end there, something that’s so simple yet pretty damn clever.  The only beef I have with it is it seems like I’ve heard it before. I am not saying that it was copied, it just has a familiar ring to it.

Great job though.

That’s actually one of the better limericks I have read. I am not an expert on this sort of literature, but you have kept to the meter and the rhyme nicely. I love how it flows and it really has a nice little punch at the end. One of the best limericks I have read on here… nice work.
