Romance / You
When you grab my hand,
My blood begins to rush.
My heart beats faster,
And I turn a red flush.
I like it the way you remind me
That you love me each and everyday.
Also how you hug me from behind
In that cutesy-cuddly way.
You truly give me butterflies,
You make me trip.
I can’t get enough of you baby.
I can’t get a grip.
You’ll never know the miles
Or the distance I would walk.
I’d run around the world twice,
Just to hear you talk.
I’m falling under your spell,
It’s insane how deep I am.
I guess I really do love you,
Oh man.

Ahh, young love! This poem brings back the memories of my first falling too. It definitely embodies romance. The structure is a bit sing-songy, but okay. Keep writing, and write from what you know and feel. The purest poems come from out inner most experiences.
