There could be many meanings for this quote,
but yet i don’t see one.
Please explain.

Very soggy and flat but they will hold up and stand forever if you allow them to fit. I have the blues, reds, and blacks right now. This writing thing will get to you. I may take this and squeeze every inch of value out of it and put it in my shoe box of a brain. Thank you.

OK cool.
Blue suede shoes is an entirely different metaphor though.
The blues can be anything that effects you even in the slightest melancholy way.

musical quotes are often fantastic.  here is another such case.  I think though that this quote could become a whole poem exemplifying what the blues are.  ”What are the blues to you” seems like a song even.  Please keep writing.
