Poetry / No Use for a Name
You can sit here if you like
But be gone, you.
Because I smoked you away
So you should keep walking.
Catch my scent in the air
Because I am responsible for the stench
Because that lovey dovey smog,
That fog I could not catch
So I’ll just lay here in the breeze
This Piss Princess is smoked stoked
So just let us be.
But then again,
What’s one more.
So just let it out on me, in me.
I can smoke you away too
Just like playing a flute
What could you possibly have to tell me
That I haven’t heard
This stench, this cloud I’ve earned
Don’t kiss me
Because tomorrow you won’t miss me.
But your injustice
Your agression
Your sob stories and alligations,
You can leave here in me.
Because, What’s one more.
Trust me, you won’t make me sore.
Because this yellow line, I’ll earn
And they’ll all say,
That was a lot to breathe through
Not live
Not cry
Or even die
Because I’ll just be here.
Don’t ever wonder if I’ll ever leave
Just keep walking, you’ll see.
You weren’t first
You’re not last
Now get away
Keep walking, fast.
If you ask me if I’ll have to pee
You’ll know the answer, because
I never leave.
What’s one more stain
One more spot
One more scratch gained
Don’t worry, I won’t even remember your name
Maybe just your stench
That I’ll promise to keep
But no,
Never your name.
