Unworthy

Unworthy of your love
Why waste my time waiting
For the time to be right

Unworthy of the gentleness
Of your kiss
And the passion you ignited within

I realized this…
No need for you to worry
No need for me to cry

I am unworthy of your time
so here I am
in this sad abyss
missing the caress of your fingertips

Wanting to be wanted
And the want is returned not
Not to me
I will most certainly let it be
