In dreams
I hear your sweet voice
whispering my name,
beckoning from the shadows,
murmuring words of endearment.
In dreams
I see you in the distance
waiting for me to join you,
to be gathered up in your warm embrace,
enveloped in the richness of your love.
In dreams
I give myself to you
surrendering to the force of your love,
to be swept away like a bird
caught in a storm.
But how, my love
do I lure you
from my dreams
into reality?
