Lyrics are difficult to write and so fun to read. I have to say your dad should be honored to have this song written and performed for him! Thanks for sharing your song.

Except for one spelling mistake, “never to (too) proud to admit the things he’d rather deny…” i thought this piece was flawless. Great work. I look forward to reading more of the song. I am particularly interested in father-related art. I dedicated my first novel to my father. maybe even my second, not sure yet. i would like to know what kind of music would accompany these lyrics?
