Poetry / A Mother’s Heart (Analysis)
As the crystal like ocean
So deep
The volume
Un-measurable
As high as the highest
Snow capped
Mountains reach
The Love
A Mother’s Heart
Holds
Is most treasurable
Not to compare to any other love…
A Mother’s Heart
True to nurture
To love
Unconditionally
A blessing from above…
A Mother’s Heart
May be bruised
Stepped on
Or sometimes broken
Forgiveness and Love
Is filled
Within
A Mother’s Heart
Children
Are a precious gift
To
A Mother’s Heart
Nothing
Is comparable
To this bond
Within a Mother’s Heart
To hear her babies life start…
With the first cry…
A Mother’s Heart
Beats again…

Very well done. I can’t think of any other thing to explain it other than it is good. Someone should be paying you for your work as you seem to have the talent, a gift, to share with the world.

I really loved the message.
i have proven this work to be true over and over as i have put my own mother’s heart to the test, and everything you stated about its ability to bounce back with love is more than truth, its gospel. i can definately see this in halmarks new line of madre day cards with a few tweeks, like making the repetition of a mothers heart more subtle and some attention to the overall rhythym of this beautifully honest piece.
Fantastic poem. Really enjoy the repitition of the last line of each stanza. Ie a mother’s heart.
I like the whole mother and child theme. Im a mother also and i know its a great feeling.
it started good then you lost me for a sec then i found myself thinking of my mother…i can’t ask much more from a poem…really liked it
