The “an” is supposed to be an “a”. I disagree with you on the use of the word “insignificant” and the wording of that line. As for the rhyming of heaven and leavened, I knew that wasn’t a correct rhyme. I obviously chose to do it anyway for meaning rather than rhyme.
As for the meaning behind that last line, leavened bread is bread that has had yeast applied to it to make it rise. Different passages of the bible use leavened and unleavened bread in both positive and negative descriptions. In quite a few, leavened bread or just leaven alone is used as a way to describe wickedness and hyprocracy as it was used in Cor5:1-13 and Galations5:1-10.
Also, bread is common slang for money. And using leaven in the same way it was used in the scriptures or at least in a similar fashion, I was just describing the way that money has been blown up to be more than simple currency. It’s a status symbol that many people are judged by and we buy into this idea with the perpetual consumptions of goods and products we don’t necessarily need in order to show off how much we $$$ we have.
Anyhow, thanks for letting me know what you think.
