“Heaven’s Best”

I am looking down a long, narrow road;
and I’m tryin’ to find someone to care.
And this burden on my back, is such a heavy load.
the sun is shinin’ in my eyes,
and I am blinded by the glare.

But, I am running with all my heart,
back to Jesus.
The only Love that satisfies;
the only Place I can hide,
and find sweet rest.
And I know He’ll try me, mold and break me.
But, that’s alright, if He’ll just take me,
for nothing less can i accept.
I belong to Heaven’s Best.

I need to feel His Perfect Peace around me;
I need to know His Lovin’ Arms—They still surround me.
And when I bring my life to Him,
I know He’ll put me to the test.
Once you’re a child of the King of Kings,
you won’t take second best.

That’s why I’m runnin’,with all my heart,
back to Jesus.
The only Love that satisfies;
the only Place I can hide and

I know He’ll try me, mold, and break me.
but, that’s alright, if He’ll just take me—-
for nothing less can I accept.
