Short and straight to the point, I like that. This is very simple yet graphically expresses your point in a poetic way.  

That would be the goal…however our carnal desires seem to get in the way of our emotional development and conncetion with another.

They do indeed, but then that ceases to be ‘making love’, and becomes ‘scr**’ or ‘Fuc*’.

Well put. Perhaps this is how the euphemism ‘making love’ actually came to be. I like the parallel meter structure of ‘physical expression’ and ‘emotional connection.’

That is sweet, most people make it sound vulgar or glorify it. I like how you just stuck with what it is, it is truly just a physical way of showing your emotions for someone else. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks.  I guess the point is that I wrote about ‘making love’.  Had I used ‘F*ing’ it wouldn’t make sense to refer to the ‘emotional connection’.  ’animalistic ‘Desires’, perhaps.

This is a nice quote for people in love. It is short, clear and fairly memorable.
However I did not score it as high as I would have if the wording had been slightly different. As it is with “you” and “our” in the quote it can only be used when speaking directly to the love partner. If you changed it to “Making love is a physical expression of emotional connection.” then it would be usable in more situations.
I like the theme though.
