Heartache
The beginning
My heartache
started as a child.
Dubbed a mistake
Labeled too wild.
Solidly constructed
Veiled and silent walls
behind them I hide.
Still I would listen
and watch my friends die.
Took down the walls
Time to time…
Scared and frightened.
Rebuilding took time
weak and broken.
Deep within my solitude
Learn to love the pain.
The roar
Deafening silence
The walls must remain.
Look to man in vain
For answers
pray to God for peace.
Still I my world crumbles
heart cries out in pain.
