Poetry / Serenity (Analysis)
Time rolls, rhymes flow,
Contented serenity, the words of perfect amenity,
Time to think,
Time to breathe,
Time with only a pen and me,
The roars of the world controlled in my hand,
The pause of the timing sands in my command,
Time is unlimited words aren’t prohibited,
What I write is my will,
These words are written with impeccable skill,
With perfection these words will amaze and thrill,
Confound and kill the way the world as seen in your eyes,
Behold the real world and realize,
That silence is bliss,
The cure for the dark abyss you call your life,
Time is of the essence, treat it so,
Use your skills to profound and build,
The future is only a word away,
So don’t be afraid indite your way,
Use your intelligence and pursue your dreams,
For when you dream there is nothing but what you wish to see,
Only what you dare to perceive
So why not take the opportunity to believe,
And slip into the time we think of as Serenity.

Excellent poem there. What is “indite”? Just curious.

With a little polish this poem could really go some where! It just needs some adjustment to sentence length and meter and you got something dandy there! I really liked the phrase, “The future is only a word away.”
