Maybe you’re reading too far into this and making it more complicated than it has to be. It’s metaphorical. Blue is one opinion, and green is another. That’s all.

I’m sure within the poem this line has greater meaning than it does as a stand alone quote. What is the it they both refer to? The reader has no clue and as to it’s color, we have to trust the author on this but we haven’t enough to go on to judge him a worthy narrator by these few words. In effect, I’m not sure what the quote means.
I dug this. No in-between. No compromise. I haven’t read the poem in which you used this, but it hit me as a great way to show a sharp contrast between two people. Cool line.
Its clear and colorful. its speaks volumes of arguments.
I’m kinda not sure what this quote means but I’m sure you have some kind of meaning for it and I am sure that if I knew I would get it.
Although I re-read this multiple times, I do not quite get the meaning of it, though perhaps it is something along the lines of disagreement?
I love this! Of all the quotes I’ve read on this site, I have to say this is my absolute favorite:-) Great statement about truth and perception. It’s perfect. I’d love to read the poem it’s attached to. After reading this one line, I’m left very intrigued to read more of your stuff:-) Best of luck with your work!
