Poetry / "Nothing at All"
Beyond redemption
I lie
naked on the tile floor.
Exposed and broken,
a worthless mass of
words unspoken,
kisses when lips could not meet.
And you stand tall
your foot on my throat,
threatening
my heart with uncertainty.
And you
will never turn me away.
You far too much enjoy
stirring romances
colliding
in halos around you.
Extend your though to me
bleeding life,
love,
life without you
is nothing at all.
