Why is it, do you think that we tend to hurt most those we least wish to?
On When Night is Falling (the movie)
Q: ”...On the homosexuality problem…?
A: “Well I don’t really think it’s a problem per say… I cannot beliece God would be so cruel as to decree that those people…” {we}”...could never be satisified in their lives.”
How can look at another human being and say they are not as good as I am because they love that way.? Is not the ability to love something to aspire to? Does love not bring with it courage, grace, and beauty?
Why then then would you who claim to be so great condemn something of such nesecity? Why then would you who are in many ways unhappy and seeking to find joy- condemn the joy the joy that I have found, and then have the gall to call yourself christian.
Would your Christ be so cruel as to scentance me to everlasting torment simply because I love another woman? Shame than on you- brother, sister, mother, father for denying me what is most precious within me. For tarnishing with your small minded hate that wich in me shines brighter for the adversity wich I have been forced to overcome.
We humans seem to be at our best when thing are at their worst it’s true… and once the worst has passed I now know I can still stand tall and hol to me without shame the one I love despite the hatred and ignorance of others, for my heart is the steel that was tempered in that fire- the one wich you all fed, and now I walk tall knowing I survived. I not only survived, I flourished! I came to a knowledge of myself, a knowledge without the luxury of ego. I saw my very soul as it was both the good and the bad. I looked myself in the eye and I accepted myself with arms flung wide in a joyful embrace. I accepted who I am. Can you say the same?
Thank you. Thank you for hating, and trying to sqaush the light in me, for in doing so you made it grow and for that I will ever be in your debt.
Thank You.

I very much enjoyed this piece, and have to agree with the previous review that it could use more direction regarding specific nay-sayers, as opposed to the general populace. Overall, wonderful topic, and definitely something about which I feel as strongly.

comma after “do you think”
“How can look” – missing word – “I”?
“Why then then would” – extra “then”
“nesecity” – “necessity”
no dash after “find joy”
“christian” – this word is normally capitalized
“scentance” – “sentence”
“Shame than on you- brother” – “Shame then on you, brother”
“small minded” – hyphenate
“that wich” – “which”
“thing are” – “things” – comma before “it’s true”
comma after “worst has passed”
“hol to me” – “hold”
comma after “one I love”
comma after “soul as it was”
“arms flung wide in a joyful embrace” – I understand what you are trying to say, but arms are not “flung wide” when they’re embracing someone.
comma after “made it grow”
While I agree with some of the basic sentiments expressed here – If love is supposed to be good and necessary for everyone, why would God create people who aren’t allowed to love? – I feel a little bit offended by how the end is phrased. Ever hear the expression “preaching to the choir”? Well, in this instance, you are at great risk of offending the choir – the people who agree with you – because you’ve written this as if all people are against you and your right to love whomever you choose. Simply changing this piece so that it is clear that you’re addressing specific people instead of the whole world would fix this problem.
