Thanks for the comment, Jed. Can you think of anything that would help? A line that bothers you maybe or…?
Thanks again,
James.

This true, with the War and the holocaust. He was also a friend of T.S. Eliot. The poem is short but yet allows the reader a small glimpse into the man’s incredible life. However, there is so much more to him. Sandi
I like this, its kind of clever, but i think it needs something a little stronger in it to make it really good
it sounds like there should be more to it. but it was very good. you got the right pictures written and i thank you. keep it up!
I like this poem, though I’m totally unclear on how it relates to James Joyce as he’s not even indirectly referenced. This seems a pretty apt commentary on modern life.
Ah, an interesting topic. I have read somewhat on what you describe and I can understand what this is about.
Simple, but ultimately an interesting topic. Good job.
Nice write, I thought it was a great short piece. My only offering would be to exclude the information that limits this piece to be about someone very particular, and allow it to be about anyone at all. So maybe you could consider changing the title too.
This sparked my imagination. It was cool.
I loved the first two lines, very fast paced and powerful. I feel it looses its intrigue at the close, and would love to see it move as quickly, since it ends with fire. Good work!
