I totally agree with this. People have a knack for finding the bad in things when there is good in it too.

I can dig it.  It’s important to be realistic about things and not overreact no matter how hard it slaps you in the face.  Try not to make everything a knee jerk reaction.

This sounds familiar, is this yours? I feel like I have heard something like this before or something similar? I don’t know, maybe not, good job, you got your point across and that is what counts.

This is a really good quote.  And it is very true. Good work.

I disagree with the first half, sometimes appearances are dead on the money.
It might read better if “They just aren’t” is replaced with “nor are they.”

If this was meant to be humerous, then it is. Because it’s like the way an optimistic person would answer a pessimistic person. So if that’s what you meant by it then good job. It’s just like saying the glass isn’t half empty it’s actually half full.

Nice approach, everything’s relative to your experiences. I’m glad you uploaded this quote it was nicely said.

so true. a bit wordy though. i would’ve worded it as ”...seem, just never as good as you wished.” or “hoped” or “planned”. things hardly ever meet the standards you hold them to. they hardly ever live up to your idea of them. this true about life really. good job. great quote.
