Cure Autism? How about Love Autism?

I’m not sure if the meaning is as you intended since there are certain characteristics associated with autism people frown on. But to love autism is to love the person with autism. And that’s where your quotes works well with me if somehow you managed to bring out that special slant.

This seems to have nothing at all to do with “the creative life.”  The real problem, though, is that the questions begged by this piece are not the ones you want a piece to beg: you’re suggesting that people should love a dysfunction, without supplying a reason why the question should be asked at all, let alone why you expect the reader to find the question interesting.  An obvious answer to your question, begged by the question itself, is, ”... because it would be like loving an infected wound, of course.”  Surely that’s not what you wanted to leave the reader with.

It may help you, in meeting challenges like this, to give thought to the reaction you want your words to trigger.  With only six words to work with, either you evoke a powerful response in your reader, or you’ve written a throwaway; unfortunately, there’s no middle ground.  I suggest that you refocus on the challenge itself, consider what associations you would like to see reduced to six words, and then see if you can manage it densely without making it look like you are “shoehorning.”

I hope you find this helpful.

Clear and to the point.  People should embace the things they can not change.

I enjoy this quote.  It brings a new perspective to an issue in a clever edgy way.  Keep it up!
