I must admit I don’t really understand what you mean by the “sing gargling” part of this poem, to me poetry is about clarifying and describing what we see around us and the emotions we experience. When I read into “sing gargling” it makes me think of a song where the lyrics are indecipherable, personally I see lyrics as the most important part of a song and therefore they should be clear to the listener.
However I really like the “conduct with your pen” part of this piece. It shows good insight into the complexities and artistry of what one is trying to achieve when writing.
As always this is only one persons opinion and I could have misinterpreted what you were trying to communicate with the start. My personal opinion is this piece has great potential but needing a new start.
  

Now this one suggests an interesting life.  ”sing gargling” is obscure in a way that suggests obscurity is a good aim.  The rest is a fine maxim.  Only I miss a sense of story-arc.

Hm.  I wasn’t going for “obscure” with “Sing gargling,” I was just thinking of the act of gargling to a tune, being something utterly silly and useless, yet fundamentally light-hearted.  Might it have been less obscure if I wrote, “Sing while gargling.  The pen conducts.”  Or should I just swallow the water, already, and find a clearer expression?
