I didn’t even consider having to explain that.  I would have automatically assumed any writer would consider a musician a likely member of the club,lyrics normally being written before being sung.

Though i guess there are those that only play, but most i know write as they have ideas to share with the world.

First, I like the bookends of Mojo and Abba. There’s an ironic sadness to this simply because Abba’s music is so happy. Losing the passion or the muse and settling for a life that others might kill for – yes, that’s what happens to a lot of writers.

Only criticism: The three parts could show more progression from the past to the present. As is, you have Past, Present, Present. This would be more balanced if the middle were more of a transition.

Ha!  Sorry you lost your mojo, but that was quite funny.

Some people seem to think it would be a good gig for a guitarist, all that happy glam pop disco.. (another gibson flies through the front of yet another marshall twin…. )..

it is actually a friends real situation, i am just assuming the role here..
