Quotes / My 6 word life

There’s a story here, I can feel it and it makes me crave to know what happened…which is always a good thing.

The idea that you never gave your heart away, yet it was still broken seems tragic.

All in all, it’s a very sentimental line that invoke a lot of emotion in me, personally…I like it :)

I think this is a good thought. After all what can you really say with six words any way? Not a whole lot.

BRAVO!  This is excellent and factual.
“My heart:” is the clencher as it is where emotion is born and lives.

Good quote overall. Too short to critique much. But I think it’s missing something. Maybe if you took out my, and replaced it with a descriptive word for the heart…Just an idea. =]

This has a nice rhythm and is a reasonably fresh take on Tennyson’s “it’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.”  The scope is not broad and there is little left for the reader to fill in, so as a ‘six word memoir’ it is less effective than as a simple personal statement.  Likewise, it doesn’t rise to the level of an aphorism, but it’s still a nice line.

it has promise and demands sympathy but it’s not specific to your situation. i as a reader wanted to know how your heart was broken if u never gave it to anyone. this gets a 6 from me
