I totally see where you are coming from with that point that you made.
Infact, I thought about changing the first “inspire” to “aspire” when I was coming up with it. And so I chuckled when I read what you wrote.
I also thought I could have written “Inspired to write, write to inspire”. However, the fact that I do indeed write should tell the average reader that I have already been inspired to write. Therefore, I saw no need to tell the reader that. Especially since I only had six words to do it in. Instead, I chose to tell the reader that in my life as a poet, I aim to inspire people to write and that I write to inspire people in life. Unfortunately, it just didn’t come across like that to you and it probably won’t for others either. In my opinion, that is the beauty of poetry. It can mean one thing to the poet but the person or persons who read it might think it means something else. It makes it fun to figure out what they meant by what they wrote. Don’t know if that makes any sense to you. Thank you for your review though. I found it thought provoking, but I felt I had to let you know why I wrote this the way I did.
