Well spoken. The repetition is the key of the piece because it goes against the rule “You can’t use the word you’re defining in its definition.” Your taking a construct and offering it up for evaluation. I like it!

dreams are dreams and pen and paper? what does that really mean? it didnt really make any sense to me and i didnt really understand it.

It requires you to go beyond what these things are in a concrete sense and understand their meaning in a philosophical sense. Dreams are just dreams, by putting the pen (dream) to paper (reality) we allow the dreams to remain as they are but also give them a new life and allow them to be seen independent of their context.
