This is particularly good, I like it, its especially strong when reading it because of the duel meanings behind the words and there interpretation. As for a written qoute its great, but perhaps not so strong verbally.

i get your point which is good but the word bare doesn’t seem to fit for some reason..i’m not good enough to find that word or pharse to modify this memoir, but i’m sure you can, cause this would be a good one based on your idea…:)jim
