I would hate to write a one word review so I had to think beyond my first reaction, which was wow. I think your word choice is amazing and very deliberate. I especially like the use of “ink” because it gets down to the most raw and even rare form of writing now. I mean you have typed it on the computer but hopefully you still have the belief, as I do, that the most powerful words are handwritten in ink.
hi there,
i get your point which is good but the word bare doesn’t seem to fit for some reason..i’m not good enough to find that word or pharse to modify this memoir, but i’m sure you can, cause this would be a good one based on your idea…:)jim
This one I can relate to and perceive the author’s direction. It is inspiring and motivating for one who desires to write.

That is exactly what you do as a writer. You lay your deepest, darkest experiences for everyone to see. A perfect way to describe the creative life and soul.

How writers can relate. For many ink is a way for people to expose themselves to the world. You conveyed that in 6 words. Congratz! It shows the devotion and passion some people really have for writing. Almost as if it’s there oxygen. Good Job and Good Luck. With respect. -Corruptedstatic.
Don’t have much to add, but wanted to give a high mark for the Smith mag review. Perfect description of a passionate writer!
