The punctuation was a conscious decision in order to include a voice for both sides of my writing mind. There’s the instructive, albeit slightly forceful part and then there’s the compassionate, gentle whisper that contends my constant bickering.

gently i say to you:
i scene, an image, an idea, is all you can accomplish with six words. try not to preach. of course this works perfectly for me because i dawdle more than i do anything else. that’s a good word choice also. good work.

I like this and I think everyone who writes will relate to it instantly. The only suggestion I have is that there’s a lot of punctuation for just 6 words. I think I’d make it “Learn this: write more, dawdle less”
Ok- you made me smile. I get it. I get it. I just need to finish watching this show, cleaning the kitchen, mowing the lawn… Life interferes with poety!
