I think a semicolon would have worked just as fine, but otherwise it is to the point; definitely not subtle! lol. A very enjoyable headscratcher.

this is interesting and funny. subtleties are subtle, hence not easily gotten. Giving “subtleties” an overt nature in this six-word piece is a good play on the idea of what it means to be subtle. how many times can i write “subtle” in one sitting?
ellipses is also clever. i like it. well done.
Very humorous. I like it as social commentary.
I like the way you’re not subtle about how you don’t get subtleties – good humor! :) My only criticism is your use of the ellipsis (...). Inserting a hyphen in its place would be the better choice of punctuation.
Creative, but is this really what you have to say for your life?
Two ratings, overall is low because of the ellipses, they aren’t necessary.
Makes the qoute passive. Lower rating for 6memoirs because need for originality.
For memoir, there is a indirect reference to the art of writing. “Nuances” may be more appropriate than “subtleties.” But this word is so grand. Maybe write a 6worder using it.
I like your frankness. You may be saying, “Don’t mess around with me. Just tell me as it is. And, I’ll write about it and get back to you..”
Like I tell many other people with these 6word memoirs, some of the best ones are unique and use imagery. Yours is the first using “subtleties.” It has a twist, ”...don’t get them.” But lacks something I am unable to point out.
Good luck, Gbryan
Yeas subtleties… kinda makes you wonder why people just don’t tell you instead of making it difficult all the time. Nice. Thanks for sharing
I read alot of these six-word memoirs because I am really impressed when someone pulls this off. Most of them fall short. This one? Swweeeeet! I laughed out loud, which is exactly what I’m hoping for when I open them. Very clever and witty…I gave you all tens.
YES! Now you see, I feel there is only one way to review these. Either you like it or you don’t.
This I like. Hold back nothing. Great job.
A wry sense of humor…I get it!
Higher scores if you substitute ‘them’ for ‘it’, since ‘subtleties’ is plural. Nice work. :)
