Nice, simple, but it does catch your eye and make you think. It’s like an, “Oh, I get that,” moment for writers.

At first glance I went “Huh?”. Read it again and it made me laugh. I like that!
I have sooooo many queued entries myself, I can certainly relate to this.
Great job this is a complete story in six words in my opinion. I know what you are doing, who is doing it, and there is emotion or as story writers like to say DRAMA. I detect disappointment about the loss of importance writing has now days. Something I think a lot of writers can relate to. I don’t think you need to protect this from harsh criticism with your notes for the reviewers as you did. Don’t down play your work, there is NO shame in something coming to you with ease or while brainstorming. This is one of the best I have read be confident in your work you have talent.
It conveys the trials and tribulations of a struggling writer working in an intensely competitive field. But I can’t escape the feeling that it is all too “deja vu.” It is honest, but it doesn’t really say anything new or fresh.
It sounds as if you’ve lost your passion for writing in this one. To a writer, writing is never “merely” anything.
