Oh nice. This is well said. Your a person always moving foward and thinking ahead. That is what this tells me about the writer. No regrets, no time to look back at what should or could of happened. Great piece. Thanks for the read. Good luck. With respect. -Corruptedstatic.

I can’t take these 6 word memoirs, but they are all over. There are so many I think to be terrible, in my humble opinion, but this one was refreshing. It calmed, intrigued, and made me contemplate greater things. Best one I’ve read. Finally.

The hindsight is key in this quote.  The word play is excellent.

I find that all that we are comes from our experiences; the building blocks of growth and molecules of imagination.  The quote is faulty in that sense; contridictory to evolution.  Seeing no future in hindsight actually seems as though a life has been spent walking around blind with 20/20 vision and hasn’t learned or grown it’s entire time living.  I suggest revision.  Maybe you could consider:  I searched for…, or I hoped for…longed for…then there is a sense of hope in that all the hindsight spent was somehow worth the journey.

The syntactic ambiguity of this is pleasing.

In the past you didn’t see the point of (a future in) hindsight.
In the past you saw no future (but you’re only realizing this now).

It is certainly an artist’s way of looking at the choices he’s made.

Very, very awesome. Completely true. Too often we look to the past and see what COULD have been, but it’s not. We can’t live a future looking into the past. Very well put!
