It’s like a game show…Life is but a dream.

Imagination takes you to another reality or dimension, like a drug.

Art, writing and love provide the same stimulus to the human mind as pleasure.  Drugs do the same, a euphoria which is quite addictive, that is why people run into so much trouble after taking a drug, they cannot (or have a very hard time trying to) stop…always seeking that euphoria.
For me art, writing and love puts me in a euphoria of imagination and a world far from the real, like a drug.  It simply states a state of being without a drug because these things are the ultimate euphoria…besides chocolate of course!

I’m saying that art, writing and all those thing are the replacement drug.

Passion is the drug.  I removed this 6 worder from submission.  People think that it isn’t personal enough; just a general statement, but it is the passion for expression in various ways which drives the artist, the writer, the musician, etc…

I would have like a 10…I withdrew this one anyway, it didn’t meet criteria.  Thanks

You’re playing against drugs like acid or drinks like absinthe supposedly inducing creativity? You’re making the statement because you came off of drugs and are proud of yourself for being able to write skillfully without them? What? Neither really apply to your life as a narrator or writer; they’d be focusing more on your internal war with drugs. If you’re simply stating, “I write without drugs”, again, the point? It’s a dressed up, otherwise-bland statement, then.

I don’t take drugs, never have and the statement is as simple as it seems: ART, AND WRITING AND POETRY, ARE THE DRUG!! You should evaluate your reviews before you add personal discrepancies of self and stereotype people with your own insecurities!  It seems my stuff is over your head, I would prefer that you don’t critique my writing until you grow up
