Its eight words, but if i had my way, it would win. I was just talking about this the other day. When the old folks die out alot will be lost. I love history. Its my passion. I love this saying as well. Sandi
A very good motto, but very obvious. I certainly do not mean that in a nasty sense whatsoever, so pelase do not take it that way. I just feel that the theme of this quote could have been worded otherwise differently. I would suggest changing the actual verbage around slightly. Play with the words, and the stretch your vocabulary.
I think there must be a typo in the quote as it doesn’t make sense as written. “to else will be mystery?” What does that mean? Usually history is recorded, you can’t preserve something that passes in time, you can read about what happened, but you can’t put it under a bell jar forever or can it like jelly. I’d really like to know what you are trying to say. Take another shot at this!
