You made it personal, so it avoids being the truism that it might. ”Words hurt/heal” is nonetheless horribly cliche. I’m sure it’s quite true for you personally, but this evocation of the timeless truth feels tired. You could look for more vibrant words than ‘hurt’ and ‘heal’ at least, if not strive to come up with a truly fresh expression. Good luck.
