Poetry / I Am Hannibal's Wife
Hannibal said he loved me,
So I let him eat my ear.
Hannibal said he adored me,
So I let him bite my rear.
Hannibal said he’d marry me
If only I’d let him near,
And so I did,
And so I learned
That cannibals are to be feared.
