Poetry / Failing Planets

Now I summon a numb to replace all this pain
Such a sense is intense as it’s faced to maintain
I’m bewildered by living and all of its strain
Am I lost in my head or unfit to contain

Must I feel I refrain as it seems like I’m seized
All my tensions detain while they’ve never once eased
Should I call this infected or see it diseased
Too soon I’ll know death as my breath is appeased

Know before I let go I will slow in my flow
I must hinder these words while they wish to let go
By this winding inside I’ll be tied like a bow
Please release me of binds made of minds that don’t know

Now I’m free in each sense like the day I turned birth
Through this life I have loved and I’ve figured its worth
Any mass will harass, irregardless of girth
We all grow in distortion, proportioned to Earth
