Life is indeed a bitch.  well said.  and you wrote it down.  well done too.

make this two sentences.  

“Life’s a bitch!  Write it down!”

Strong, in-your-face piece.  funny, but not memorable.  statement piece, no real imagery.

This made me smile which is always a good thing. I think you have touched on a subject that a lot of writers use as a basis to their work, which is also good. Writing about the less fun parts of life is certainly a good way to help one come to terms with the stress that it can create. I can relate to this piece and I’m sure many other people will to. Good work, keep it up.

Pitch-perfect! It’s true… it’s concise… it’s funny. Great submission for the SMITH six-word contest on the creative life. Just change one thing: add an apostrophe to “Life’s” and you’ll be good to go.

...and you did.  This is great, like a joke with a delayed punchline.  ”Life’s” instead of “lifes” and ; instead of a comma will give it a great shot at Brevity/Wit (or, consider manufacturing bumper stickers and selling them on the web!).
