Poetry / My Sinful Thing
I feel like a fly caught in a spider’s web
Awaiting the blood sweet, sticky pain I know is coming
Why toss and turn and fight?
I’m here now, I brought myself here
And why deny what is the truth?
I want to be here
I sought this web
Tested it and waited till I knew it was strong enough to hold me
I chose the prettiest, sleekest spider to drain me
I want to be your first kill
The one you always remember
That first taste
Drain me, bleed me dry
But take your time, don’t rush it.
Take is slow, make it last
As you take the life from them, make my veins burn
Make them ach, make me wish I had more to give you
Bath in my life and drink in my essence
Crawl to me, closer, I want to feel your fangs
Can you hear it? Can you feel it?
The blood pulsing through my veins.
I’m keeping it warm for you
Like a cup of hot spiced wine
Feast on me
Make me that sinful thing you know you should regret, but never do
Oh my sinful thing, make me burn
I will drink you poison, because it is my wine
That intoxicating pain that makes my breath catch
And lets me revel in the slowing beats of my heart
Press me harder, push me farther than I have ever gone before
Drain me to the last drop
Leave me with nothing left
That’s what I want, that’s why I’m here
Trapped by silken threads, stronger than steel
Crawl to me, closer, oh my sinful thing
The prettiest spider and the web I sought
My pulse quickens
Make me burn, drain me dry.

VERY NICE POEM.
The imagery and clarity are both down pretty tight.
The flow is excellent.
I wouldn’t change a thing.
