Poetry / the clocks (Analysis)

“questioning yourself
you’re left your own witness
give it time to run by
like clockwork
you’re breaking down with each pass”

at half-past six
thought you had it
as a fix
instead you’re losing tick
with each minute, you don’t fit
you’re losing yourself
with each hour that you sit
give it time to run by
or open up
and look inside

something’s not right here.
