Poetry / Benjamin Breeg (Analysis)
Invisible people yet seen by all.
As we rise up, they all fall.
Mysterious action yet known reason.
All of which performed for treason.
Unseen man in all of time.
To be claimed by his maker, not valentine.
Disturbed Images, never kind.
I thank God there is no window to his mind.
Death bell sounds, but on one is to hear.
How can we live with lives full of fear?
Reaper claims another soul when bells ring.
Oh where be thee, boy Benjamin Breeg.
A man torn apart, mostly self inflicted.
A disease he has, his brain is infected.
Yet he shows compassion and trust.
Neglecting his life of intimacy and allowed himself to rust.
A man never seems to be enlightened.
Everyone who knows him are always frightened.
Portraits of flesh rotting off the face.
He translates the words of the Devil for the human race.
A life ruled by sorrow, no hope.
All he can do now is coping.
Darwin says change in unstoppable.
When God made him, he felt irresponsible.
Missing he went due to mental fatigue.
Oh where be thee, boy Benjamin Breeg.
His bondage to darkness is forever.
As our lord’s commitment for him is never.
Oh how he longs for his own freedom.
He will lay siege and engulf flames upon Earth’s kingdom.
All for now he can only cry.
Oh how he wishes his soul could fly.
Away from this dreadful, fearful curse.
Now only his imagination is getting worse.
As he is trapped in the helms of Hades.
He wishes to be basking upon the shores of Haiti.
But he is trapped in this endless abyss.
He cries out and the only response is his.
In a swamp all he hears is a frog ribbit.
As the maggots of Hell eat up his spirit.
As the missing hot line goes off, ring, ring, and ring.
Oh Where bee the, boy Benjamin Breeg.
