Action Adventure / The Tattooist
There is the world, and there are the roots of the world. Some are dead, pulling the world down, and some are its only whim of survival. In the 8th Century BC, two cloak-and-dagger guilds hold each other in a keen squint through the workings of Greece, and ultimately its two rival cities, Sparta and Athens.
When a trained assassin cannot bear the flare of war between his countries, his very love being stolen away by such, he sulks beneath an insecure past, fortifying himself as a Tattooist with a plan for peace.
And then an assignment comes up. Hearts are weak, and his assassin is tested from a shell he built to be perpetual. Every creed is read from a mirror of misapprehensions intended to total his past, and thence he is bled into the very wound he wishes heal.
Ultimately, the Tattooist battles viciously for his own self-truth, beyond ethics or morals – even the will to withstand corruption. Born of darkness in the wreathes of a silent rain, the Tattooist finds himself cupping fragile, tentative choices, dripping hastily from the roots of the world.
His Life – Blades to Skin – And burying ashes within.
