So often I wonder what you’re race will
Be- whether Latina, Black white, or Asian.
See-it’s so hard waiting on God for you,
but as I write this song, one thing I know is true…

Is that the waiting time will only make it
Sweeta. Especially in marriage once I get to
See ya-naked and feel ya all over. But as I write
this song I know the only way it’s goanna happen

is if I stay Christ-centered and not start slackin.
In my spiritual life, and I’ll admit what’s been happenin
is that in some important parts of my life I’m laggin.
And I know that that so much of how I live is

Preparation- for you girl, so tonight I’m prayin
For God’s grace and love to give us the strength
Not to come unglued, and sleep well tonight and I’m
Conscious of the fact that spiritually you-are in a

Fight as well, even though I can’t tell just what
That means. At least not yet, may we both stand
tall like Ming- in Jesus’ name. And I know it’s not easy,
But I thank God cuz I’ve allowed him

To begin to free me from the insecurity I’ve often had
With women. And I have faith in that this time in Him
Waiting, will simply make it sweeter-when the day comes
And the two of us finally become one.

And for the meantime girl, I must say that it’s a
beautiful thing when the God to whom we pray
Is one in whom we can rejoice. So even though
right now I can’t hear your sweet voice and you

can’t hear mine. Regardless of the fact that I can’t
see your body so fine with a Capital F- and your
Beautiful face its so fulfilling when you recognize
you’re blessed, and can focus primarily on God.

So I pray today that no mater how hard it ever
Gets- that God’s love would pursue you in a way
that’s relentless, may your sleep be sweet at night,
