Poetry / Knothole Eyes
Knothole eyes peering morose,
Joyfulness worn away in falling white,
Golden brown of autumn,
Wishes the set of knothole eyes.
Falling to the landscape through,
Fractal prisms of blue inheritance,
Washing away color,
Mourns the set of knothole eyes.
Cataclysmic crystal shards,
Piercing deep, the shadow’s coarse diseases,
The moon, so cold, holds reign,
Over the set of knothole eyes.
Hibernation unwanted,
Forced with a will against all wishes of,
Freedom from ice and snow,
Such is the set of knothole eyes.
Asleep is the set of knothole eyes.
