Poetry / Ignorance
The words I speak are never mine,
They're yours and yours alone.
They linger on through space and time
And regret that you are gone.
Since you are not the brave one,
I will speak for you.
I will tell me that you love me
And that there's nothing you won't do.
The words flow through me like music,
as I tell me I'm the one.
You say you can't breathe without me,
Then why do you still live on?
With my heart so full of sorrow,
Bleeding it all over my soul,
Why can't you just say it's over,
And let Death take his toll?
This silence is brutal murder,
As I wait for you to speak.
Why won't you say anything at all?
You must just be too weak.
