Journal, Diary, & Blogging / Words of love. Words I cannot say.

I'm surprised at how easy it was for me to ignore you. I can't recall how long it has been. How I don't really see you in the mornings when you come in. How I really don't hear your voice when you talk to the rest of the group in the lunchroom.

Nevertheless, my heart still exists and longs for June 2008. When, on a stifling summer afternoon, I found it possible to fall in love in the short span of 8 hours. Though my eyes may have denied your spectre, my heart did gaze on your lithe frame. My ears registered your voice, your sigh.

Now, despite the circumstances that stand to separate from us ever uniting in love, however remote we appear to each other from who we were that afternoon in June, I wish to say that I will always see you that way.

My heart strings were pulled when I read this. I completly feel the emotions going on within this piece. No major errors that I could pick up on. Great job!

Ah. How the other half love, or don’t as the case may be.
The emotion of the moment was very well encapsulated and you made me, as a reader, aware of your own shortcomings. A brave thing to do, well done.
