When I tell you I love you,
It’s not just words people say.
It means that you’re my heartbeat.
You’re what keeps me going day to day.

With you I can climb mountains,
Swim oceans and fly so high.
Your love gives me power,
And lifts my confidence to the sky.

Sure I’ve loved in the past,
But none could take your place.
They all lacked your potential
And the pace to win that race.

Love is all about endurance.
It takes a lot to really succeed.
It might seem like its moving slow
But isn’t the goal more important than the speed.

Just bear with it baby.
Don’t give up or give in.
With a heartbeat this strong,
It’s a race you can’t help but win.
